Q: How did you find studying your course Brunel University London Pathway College and Brunel?
A: So I’m a UK Home student studying life sciences at Brunel University London Pathway College. It’s good I really enjoy it. The lecturers are really engaging and fun. The lectures are really supportive and fun.
So initially it wasn’t my first choice to come to Brunel. But when I was looking at my UCAS application, and Brunel sent me an email, where it said they offered me a place at Brunel University London Pathway College. And at first I didn’t know about this. When I read the email carefully, it said I have to call a number. And the clearing process was really easy and simple. All I had to do was call a number, and speak to one of the Brunel University London Pathway College clearing advisors who helped me apply through the phone. It wasn’t even through UCAS. It was really easy and straightforward.
So at Brunel University London Pathway College, it’s really good. I like it because say if I have an issue, or anything, I can easily speak to anyone. They’re really accessible and really supportive here. Also at Brunel, it’s really good because I felt like once you get to university, you want to be treated like a university student. They do that here, even if you’re doing an Brunel University London Pathway College course. And it really feels like I’m a university student here.
I’m going onto study Biomedical Sciences next year, and that’s something I am really looking forward to because of the course here at Brunel University London Pathway College.
If you’re looking for something to prepare you for university, because it is quite a jump from A Levels to university, I would definitely recommend doing a foundation year because it gives you time to think what you want to do for your degree. Also, the deadlines here when they set reports and assignments, it really helps prepare you for university assignments and how do manage your time. So I really think it’s useful to do a foundation year.
