There are a few things you need to consider before you leave home and travel to the UK:
Please read through your unconditional offer letter in full, including our terms and conditions.
Please ensure you are fully aware of the tuition fees payable to Brunel University London Pathway College, and subsequently to Brunel University London.
Please note that Brunel University London tuition fees, as provided in the offer letter, are subject to change as the University reviews and update their tuition fees on an annual basis.
Before applying for your student visa, we highly recommend you review your CAS statement to ensure accuracy.
If any questions, please email us on admissions@pathway.brunel.ac.uk. Apply as early as possible, if you are waiting for a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance), you can prepare for your supporting documents in the meantime.
Once you have been issued with a Brunel Student number (7 digit number) you can apply for a room with Brunel University London. All of our halls are on campus so you’ll only be a ten minute walk from your lectures, seminars, Library and study spaces.
It is advisable to book a flight as soon as you have accepted your unconditional offer with BPC. Many students travel to and from the UK at the beginning and end of each semester, therefore flights can be busier at these times.
It is very important that we know when you are arriving and where you intend to stay in the UK. Please remember to tell us via email on info@pathway.brunel.ac.uk about your travel and accommodation details as soon as they are booked. If you think you will arrive after the last day of enrolment, you must get permission from Brunel University London Pathway College to enrol late. You may miss important sessions if you are not here by the first day of teaching
Brunel University London Pathway College can arrange your collection from Heathrow airport.
Before you arrive, you are required to complete an online ‘task’ through eVision, Brunel’s online student portal.
You should ensure that you have the following available in your hand luggage when you arrive in the UK:
Students dress casually in the UK, mostly wearing jeans and trainers to lectures. Medium weight clothing such as sweatshirts are appropriate throughout the year but t-shirts are more useful for the summer. For winter, you will need a waterproof coat/jacket, warmer clothing and footwear.
Bring some personal items (basic toiletries such as toothbrush, soap, towel, etc.) so that you do not need to go shopping as soon as you arrive. We also suggest bringing glasses, contact lenses, current prescriptions and medication. However, make sure these items will clear customs first.
