Tuition Fees for Pathway Courses

Deposits

If your entry point is Foundation, First Year or International Year 2, you will need to pay a 50% tuition fee deposit, as stated on your unconditional offer letter, before you can register at the College and Brunel University of London.

If your entry point is Pre-Master’s, you will need to make the full tuition fee payment before you can register at the College and Brunel University of London.

Bank statements

If you require a Student visa to study in the UK, you must provide a bank statement showing that you have sufficient funds to cover your living costs and any outstanding tuition fees for the first year of your course.

For visa applications submitted on or after 30 November 2026, the required living costs are:

• Studying in London: £14,130 for 9 months (£1,570 per month).
• Studying outside London: £10,827 for 9 months (£1,203 per month).

You must show that you have held the total required amount, including any outstanding first-year tuition fees, for at least 28 consecutive days. The end date of this 28-day period must be within 31 days of your visa application date.

If you have paid accommodation fees directly to your university or college for accommodation provided by your student sponsor, you may deduct up to £1,570 from the required living costs.

Undergraduate students who have paid only 50% of their tuition fees must also provide a bank statement showing sufficient funds to cover the remaining 50% of their first-year tuition fees, in addition to the required living costs, while meeting the 28-day financial requirement.
