Travel to Brunel

As you prepare for your journey to the United Kingdom, we understand that arranging transportation from the airport to our campus is an important aspect of your arrival.

Check out our tips on the several options for your onward travel to campus, including information about Student Travel from TFL/ Oyster:

Buses from Heathrow Airport

The U3 Bus leaves from Heathrow Airport Bus Station starting from early morning, and a bus leaves roughly every ten minutes. The bus stops outside Brunel University London Security Office – please ask the driver where to get off if you are not sure. The Transport for London website provides information on using public transport in London; see useful websites below.

When you arrive you will be able to buy an Oyster card from any station in London. You will be eligible to apply for a student Oyster through the TFL. An Oyster card is a smartcard which can hold pay as you go credit, Travelcard (travel pass) and Bus and Tram Pass season tickets. You can use it to travel on busTubeTramDLRLondon Overground and most National Rail services in London. You can also use your wireless contact credit/debit card to travel on the tube and buses in London.
