Volunteering

Taking on a new challenge with Brunel Volunteers is a great way to boost your employability and show employers that you are proactive, willing and motivated. The University partners with over 200 organisations, offering opportunities whatever your schedule or interests.

Online development

As a Brunel student, you will have free and unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning – a vast online skills development platform with courses in creative, technology and business skills. All courses are taught by industry experts.

Programmes and award schemes

You can explore the READY programme (Reach Every Ambition by Developing Yourself): an additional work experience opportunity to be completed outside your degree which promotes awareness of global humanitarian issues while helping you develop key employability skills. There is also Brunel Plus, an awards scheme that recognises the non-academic activities and skills you develop beyond your degree.
